Team Season 06/07

George

George started at Apollo as a newbie and has developed over the seasons into a very good left back whilst supporting the left midfield.  His corner taking is second to none.

Dylan 

Dylan on the pitch this season has become a right attacking midfielder. He has the ability to run with the ball with speed and agility and style.  He is always eager to learn and is a very good team member which reflects in him winning one of the “most improved player awards” last season.

George G

George is a hard worker and has really had his work cut out for him this past season.  He is constantly improving and getting stronger and stronger as our keeper.  He has kept us in many a game and this has been appreciated as the players voted him players player of the year 2008/09.

Jack 

Jack is like a whippet on the pitch.  He is really strong in defense. He is so eager to learn and his abilities are always developing and this shows in his performance.  He never gives up the chase.  A hard worker.

Harry 

Harry is a solid strong player who stands his ground.  He takes an excellent corner and free kick. He has played in every position on the pitch last season and done so with a passion and pride.

Zak, is a good solid defender.  Not many of the opposition get past him. He always gives 100%. He works hard and always knows what he has to do.  He is a true team player. 

Zak 

Ciaran is an accomplished scorer and always eager to please.  He is a dynamo with the ball and has scored some brilliant power shots this season. He has speed and agility on his side.

Connor 

Connor makes a brilliant all round player.  He has stamina and is quality on the ball and has an ability to hold the ball up and bring other players into play. He works hard for his team and strives hard to get results.

Louis  (Yoyo)

Louis is another dark horse.  He surprises us all some times.  He reads the game well and always finds spaces. He scored some great goals last season and proved to be an enthusiastic goalie whilst he was covering the position.  A good all round team player.

Bayley 

Bayley certainly picks up the game when he is on the pitch. He is always hungry for the ball and always encourages  the team. He is not scared to make the ball his.  He strives to keep the team in the match.

Jimmy is a newcomer to competitive football and to Apollo.  A real fast learner who is eager to learn and to achieve.  He is already showing a natural talent for the game.  We look forward to seeing his progression continue through his first season.

Jimmy

Another newbie to the team.  He is eager and enthusiastic to learn.  We have a real strong team player in the making who is never scared of the ball or to make a challenge.  Will be interesting to watch him progress.
