Apollo FC was formed in Dec 2005 when we started as a 7-a-side team in the U8’s division of the Selkent League. Since then, we have strived to conform to the standards as set out by the FA and the Selkent League. Both the manager and coach have their certificate in Level 1 FA coaching and Level 2. They have both been CRB checked and have attended both the Child Protection and FA Emergency aid workshops as required. We also have in place a Child Welfare Officer which is a requirement for any affiliated football team in any of the youth leagues. On the 30th October 2008 we achieved Charter Standard Club status which shows that we have achieved the standards and requirements as set out by the Football Association. The club as a whole, aims for good quality football and encourages fair-play, sportsmanship and most of all fun. We pride ourselves on being a friendly and approachable team. Apollo FC expects all officials, parents and team members to follow the code of conduct as set out by the Selkent League. The club has and will finance the cost of parents and helpers to attend referee, linesman, child protection and emergency aid courses. Apollo FC is a non profit making concern, which relies solely on the generous donations from our sponsors, the yearly membership fees and weekly subs, which all contribute toward the running of the club. All the officials at Apollo FC, give their time and energy voluntarily and receive no payment for services rendered.
Our home ground and training venue is Erith School Community Sports Centre Ramsden Road, Northumberland Heath, Erith, Kent DA8 3BN
